Discount tickets for five star play followed by Birkbeck Talkback

‘Birkbeck Talkback’ sessions at Theatre Royal Stratford East give audiences the opportunity to ask the cast and creative team questions about the production they have just seen. The next Birkbeck Talkback is on Wednesday 28th May following that evening’s performance of Familyman and Birkbeck students and staff can get discounted tickets to this performance and take part in the Talkback afterwards.

Familyman by Rikki Beadle-Blair, a new comedy play about parenting in the noughties, received a five star review and was Critics Choice in Time Out (click here to read their review). Birkbeck students and staff can enjoy this thought-provoking comedy on Wednesday 28th at 7.30pm for just £7 each for the best available seats (at time of booking). Seats normally cost £19 or £12 so this really is a good deal. Familyman lasts approximately 2 hrs 15 mins (including an interval). The Talkback follows about 15 minutes after the show ends and last for 30-45 minutes. Familyman is a very popular show and will be in its final week, so please don’t delay if you want to take up the offer as tickets are very likely to be snapped up.

To claim yours just call the Theatre Royal Box Office on 020 8534 0310 and mention ‘Birkbeck Talkback’ offer when booking. Tickets have to be paid for at time of booking and this offer, which is subject to availability, cannot be used in conjunction with any other concession or promotion. You will be asked to show your Birkbeck identity card when you collect your tickets on the day of performance.

In case you have never been there before, Theatre Royal is a wonderful old Victorian building just three minutes walk from Stratford Station, which itself is a mere 12 minutes from Liverpool Street on the Central Line. Stratford is also served by the Jubilee Line, The DLR, Overground and Mainline trains and is one of London’s primary transport hubs so getting there and back should not be a problem.
