Applying to be a member of Teaching & Scholarship staff

The College occasionally needs to recruit demonstrators, teaching assistants and Associate Lecturers to assist with or teach on specialist subject areas at venues throughout Greater London.

Most courses meet for two or three hours once a week, usually in the evenings, and form part of a wide range of programmes offered by the College.

All Teaching & Scholarship positions are advertised on the Birkbeck external jobs website where the position cannot be filled by existing Academic or Teaching & Scholarship staff.

If you are interested in becoming a Teaching & Scholarship staff member at Birkbeck, and your subject area is not currently advertised then we recommend that you register for a job alert, where you will be notified if a position becomes available.

Birkbeck is an equal opportunities employer and encourages applications from all candidates irrespective of gender, ethnicity, age, disability, religious belief and sexual preference.
